Days Inn Chesterfield - Tibshelf

We liked the comforts of this great budget hotel. We took a double room and it had a work desk, flat-screen TV and a coffee maker.

I got complimentary twin room with a sofa as an upgrade, nice gesture. The hotel's location was handy, short walk to the services, the gardens and Mansfield. Found time to see Silverhill, that's around 10-15 minutes walk from...  

staff were excellent. but sad to say food wise, it was the worst experience weve had, as such there was not much food at all.

I enjoyed our short stay the purpose of which was to visit Hardwick Hall and the estate and we found the hotel clean and convenient and the staff very friendly

Absolutely beautifully comfortable pillows!

I could stay with my dog and there were wonderful walks very close by.

The room was clean and spacious, definitely comfy enough for a night. I appreciated having fluffy towels, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. No air-con, though, so I needed to keep the window open for some fresh air. There was a bit of noise from outside, but it was manageable. A decent place for a quick stop.

It is half way between Manchester and Lincolnshire and easy to find on the M1 and is accessible from either side of the Tibshelf services. The staff are very friendly and helpful,making sure we got a disabled room on the...  

situation was ideal for visiting family and road links were good for visiting attractions. Room was spacious bathroom facilities were very good .

Mattress on bed was a bit too soft for me, but to be fair I didnt ask if there was a firmer mattress available

Couple with basic needs

The room was clean and had a decent bed. Free WiFi was a plus, could stream my shows without a hitch.

Yeah, it wasn't exactly inexpensive, but it did the job.

Very poor, the lock on the door to the room did not work properly resulting in taking a long time in securing the room before we could go out for an evening meal. We booked and checked in as a couple yet were only supplied with one towel. There was no soap in the dispenser in the bathroom and we had to tune the tv in the room in before we could watch it. Yes, this is a budget hotel but these are basic requirements for any hotel!!

The receptionist was super friendly and even sold me a cold beer since the shop was closed nearby. Just wish the lock on the door worked better, felt a bit unsafe leaving it unlocked. It was cozy for a family getaway.

Accessibility for local area, comfortable room for budget hotel. Staff friendly & helpful. Restaurant facilities ok - motorway services quality. Would be nice if microwave/toaster provided for guest use as people with food allergies not really catered for....
